The regular Xiaomi Redmi 10 Prime was launched in Nepal last year. Xiaomi also hit the market with the 2022 version back in February with little to no upgrade. And now, it has cut the price of the handset. So, here we will dig into the specs, features, availability, and the new price of Redmi 10 Prime in Nepal.

Redmi 10 Prime Overview

Display and Design

Redmi 10 Prime flaunts a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with Full HD+ resolution. It boasts a refresh rate of 90Hz and a contrast ratio of 1500:1. The screen is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 leaving out a little space above the screen for the center-aligned punch-hole cutout that holds the selfie snapper.

The handset has a quad-camera camera setup at the rear panel in a rectangular module which also holds a LED flash. The color variations available for the phone are – Phantom Black, Astral White, and Bifrost Blue.

Performance and Memory

Under the hood, there is MediaTek’s Helio G88 chipset that powers the whole model. This shouldn’t be a problem while handling normal gaming modes. It is based on a 12nm manufacturing process while integrating octa-core CPU cores with 2.0GHz clock speed at the highest bid. Teaming up with it is Arm’s Mali-G52 MC2 graphics processor.

As per memory, there are two options – 4/64GB and 6/128GB of eMMC 5.1. But RAM and the internal memory are expandable via 2GB virtual RAM and a dedicated microSD card slot respectively. Likewise, the phone runs on Android 11 on top of MIUI 12.5 at the software front.

Camera

Moving on to optics, there is a quad-camera setup at the rear panel as mentioned earlier. It has a 50MP primary sensor of f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultrawide lens with 120 degrees field of view, and two 2MP scanners for macro and portrait shots.

Further, there is an 8MP selfie shooter upfront inside the center-aligned punch-hole cutout above the screen. Moreover, you can shoot 1080p videos at 30 frames per second from both rear and front cameras.

Battery and Extras

Fueling the Redmi 10 Prime is a massive 6,000mAh battery cell with 18W charging. However, the box ships with a 22.5W fast charger. The charging is done via a USB Type-C port which also supports 9W reverse charging. For biometrics, there lies a fingerprint scanner on the power button itself.

Likewise, there is 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, FM Radio, stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device also includes an infrared blaster.
