Redmi Note 11S launched in Nepal

Xiaomi Redmi has launched the Redmi Note 11S; a successor to last year’s Note 10S in the Nepali market. The phone comes at the price of Rs. 29,999 and Rs. 31,999 for the 6/128GB and 8/128GB respectively. Design and Display

Beginning with the design, the new Redmi Note 11S sports a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate.  There is a peak brightness level of 1000nits and 700nits as well. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Likewise, the aspect ratio and pixel density measure 20:9 and 409 respectively.

The phone weighs 179 grams while embedding the dimension of 159.9×73.9×8.1mm. There are flat frames on the phone and it is also IP53 rated for minor splash and dust resistivity. There are three color options available for the model – Graphite Gray, Twilight Blue, and Pearl White.

Performance and Memory

Powering the device is a MediaTek Helio G96 chipset based on a 12nm manufacturing process. It integrates an octa-core CPU with two Cortex-A76 and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at the maximum speed of 2.05GHz and 2.0GHz respectively. Likewise, there is Arm’s Mali-G57 MC2 handling the graphics depart.

Under the hood, there is a quad-camera setup with a 108MP primary lens of f/1.9 aperture. It also supports a dual-pixel PDAF feature. Further, there is an 8MP ultrawide sensor with a 118-degree field of view. Completing the setup are two 2MP cameras with f/2.4 aperture for macro and portrait shots respectively. The camera module also holds a LED flash for better night shots. You can also record videos that move up to 1080p resolution at the rate of 30 frames per second.

Upfront, there is a 16MP selfie snapper with an f/2.4 aperture. It can also record 1080p videos at 30 frames per second. Furthermore, there are stereo speakers that tune out 24-bit/192kHz audio. You can also see a 3.5mm headphone jack for music and calls.

Moving on, the phone gets its fuel from a massive 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. For biometrics, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and software-based face unlocks. Other sensors include an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
