Samsung announced the Galaxy A53 5G a month earlier in the “Awesome Galaxy A-Event”. Now, it has launched the device in the Nepali market. This post will be all about the specs, features, availability, and the official price of the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G in Nepal.

Display and Design
The Galaxy A53 5G brings a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 2400×1080-pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a pixel density of 405 alongside the aspect ratio and screen-to-body ratio of 20:9 and 85.4% respectively. Likewise, the screen gets its protection from Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The body weighs 189 grams and measures 8.1mm in thickness. It flaunts a similar design as last year’s Galaxy A52. There is a flat rear panel with slightly curved edges and a risen camera bump shaped in rectangular form with a smooth curve. It is available in four color options – Black, White, Blue, and Peach.
Performance and Memory
Powering the device is the Exynos 1280 chipset with two Cortex-A78 and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at the speed of 2.4GHz and 2GHz respectively. This was seen on the Geekbench and Google Play Console. Over to the software front, the phone boots on Android 12 on top of the One UI 4.1. Samsung is also offering four years of major Android updates.
As per memory, there are three memory configurations for the model – 6/128GB, 8/128GB, and 8/256GB. You can also expand your internal storage up to 1TB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
Camera and Audio
Under the hood, there is a quad-camera setup on the rear panel of Galaxy A53 5G. It is led by a 64MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support. Then, it is accompanied by a 12MP ultrawide lens whose field of view is 123-degree. Further, the setup is completed with two 5MP lenses for macro and portrait shots respectively.
Upfront, there is a 32MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. It lies inside the punch-hole notch. Both front and back cameras can record videos up to 4K resolution at 30 frames per second.
As per audio, there is a loudspeaker system with stereo speakers for clear sound. Unfortunately, there is no 3.5mm headphone jack for music and calls.
Battery and Extras
Fueling the handset is a 5,000mAh battery with a 25W fast charging capacity. However, Samsung hasn’t included any compatible adapter in the box but only a charging cable.
The device has an under-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics and other sensors are an accelerometer, gyro, compass, and Virtual proximity sensing. For connectivity, there is Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS (A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS), and USB Type- 2.0.
