Samsung has unveiled its latest flagship installment as its notebook series. There are four laptops in the before mentioned flagship series among which two come with 360-degree hinges. Here, we will talk about the specs, features, availability, and the expected price of the Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro series in Nepal.

Galaxy Book Experience

The new Galaxy Book 2 Pro series supports many of the Samsung-specific features. It also has a Single Sign-On feature to give you ab instant access to all the Galaxy device apps, content, and other accessories. Samsung also believes that all the Galaxy users will feel at home with the new One UI Book 4 user interface.

Further, there is a feature – Galaxy Book Smart Switch that can transfer all your data to the new laptop series. You can have your data from any brand of device you previously used.

The Quick Share option here is updated with a link sharing option alongside some improvements on other features like SmartThings hub, Samsung Multi Control, and so on.

Display and Design

There are two screen sizes you can choose from in Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro. The first one is a 13.3-inch display that has a comparatively more portable form factor than the other one with a 15.6-inch screen. However, both come with an AMOLED panel boasting a full HD resolution of 1920×1080-pixels.

Likewise, there is a more advanced Super AMOLED display on the Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 laptops. Despite this, the device still features a Full HD panel but with 120% DCI-P3 coverage. It also has 500nits of brightness in the HDR playback. Also, they have the 360-hinge as their name already suggests. Moreover, it ships with a device-compatible S Pen.

Performance and Memory

The system here gets its power from the latest 12^th Gen Intel processors coupled with Intel’s own Iris Xe graphics processor. There is also an exception where you can choose a 15.6-inch Galaxy Book 2 Pro with the new Intel Arc discrete graphics.

You can buy the base memory configurations of Galaxy Book 2 Pro and Book 2 Pro 360 of 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB Solid State Drive (SSD). In addition, you can see up to 32GB RAM alongside a 1TB SSD.

Keyboard, Camera, Audio

Moving on, there are island-type backlight keyboards on the Galaxy Book 2 Pro series. You can also see the integrated fingerprint sensor over the power key for security purposes. The laptops with 15.6-inch displays also have a dedicated number pad.

For audio, the laptops ship with AKG-tuned stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. However, the 13.3-inch models max out at 4W and others at 5W. Lastly, you can see 1080p webcams with a dual-mic array for video calls and conferences.

Battery and Ports

Coming over to the battery portion, the 13.3-inch models are fueled with a 63Whr battery and, the 15.6-inch models with 68Whr. However, both come with a 65W Type-C charger.

Over to the port’s selection, they are different with each of the models. All the Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 models come with one Thunderbolt, two USB Type-C, one combined audio jack, and a microSD card slot. Similarly, the 13.3-inch model of Galaxy Book 2 Pro replaces the Type-C port with a USB 3.2 one and adds an HDMI port. And, the 15.6-inch model adds an optional SIM slot over all of them.

We estimate the price of the Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro series in Nepal to start at NPR 1,70,000 and NPR 1,95,000 for the Galaxy Book 2 Pro and Book 2 Pro 360. In the United States, they start pre-order and actual sales from March 18 and April 1 respectively. There, they have the starting price of USD 1,049.99 and USD 1,249.99.
