Samsung has now launched a new phone – Galaxy M13 to succeed the Galaxy M12 we saw some time ago. This is a budget phone which brings some upgrades to its predecessors. Here, we will talk about the specs, features, availability, and the expected price of the Samsung Galaxy M13 in Nepal.

Display and Design
The new M-series installment flaunts a 6.6-inch PLS LCD screen with a Full HD+ resolution of 720×1600-pixel capacity. We are yet to be confirmed the refresh rate between 60Hz and 90. Above the display, there is a V-shaped notch that holds the selfie camera. Further, it has 266 PPI density and a 20:9 aspect ratio.
At the semi-glossy rear panel of the model, there is a rectangular camera island to hold the triple camera setup. It weighs 192 grams and embeds a dimension of 165.4×76.9×8.4mm. There are three color variations to choose from – Light Blue, Deep Green, and Orange Copper.
Performance and Memory
Powering the Galaxy M13 is Samsung’s own in-house Exynos 850 chipset based on an 8nm manufacturing process. It integrates an octa-core CPU with eight Cortex-A55 (@2.0GHz) cores coupling with Arm’s Mali-G52 MP1 graphics processor.
As per memory, there is a single RAM configuration of 4GB with two options for internal storage – 64GB and 128GB of eMMC 5.1. You can also expand the internal storage up to 512GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
Over to the software front, the device boots on Android 12 on top of Samsung One UI Core 4.1. Here, the core version doesn’t have all the features of the standard One UI 4.1. This means that the performance level can’t be maintained on entry-level hardware.
Camera and Audio
As mentioned earlier, the handset brings a triple camera setup on the rectangular camera island on the back panel. It is led by a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and PDAF support. Likewise, there is a 5MP ultrawide lens with a 123-degree field of view and f/2.2 aperture. Completing this setup is a 2MP camera for portrait shots.
Upfront, there is an 8MP selfie snapper inside the V-notch. Both rear and front cameras can shoot videos up to 1080p resolution at the rate of 30 frames per second. Moreover, there is a loudspeaker system for audio which teams up with a 3.5mm headphone jack for music and calls.
Battery and Extras
Under the hood, the device gets its fuel from a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. Similarly, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometrics which gets its support from Samsung Knox. Other sensors include an accelerometer, compass, and Virtual proximity sensing.
For connectivity, there is Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS (A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS), a region-dependent NFC, and USB Type-C 2.0.

The official price of the Samsung Galaxy M13 is yet to be cleared by it in Europe or Nepal. For now, we have just received the specifications of the phone and we expect the phone to launch in the European market soon which will then be followed by the Nepali.
