Samsung Galaxy M51 launching soon in Nepal: with massive 7000mAh battery

Samsung M51 Price in Nepal; Samsung has already updated its mid-range Galaxy M series several times this year.  After launching the Galaxy M01 and M01 Core, the company is now preparing to launch the Galaxy M51. The phone has already been certified by various mobile authentication platforms and is expected to be available in the next month.

Samsung’s M-series devices have been one of the best mid-to-high-end devices in the Sub-Rs 30,000 segment in recent years.  The series has helped improve Samsung’s overall numbers and stay in the top 5 for smartphones. With the upcoming Galaxy M51 device, Samsung will try to achieve the same level of success as the M30 / M31 series, but at a slightly higher price.

The device has long been in the headlines. First, the device was supposed to hit the market in June, then the launch was postponed due to production issues and now it seems that Samsung is finally ready to introduce the Galaxy M51. We expect the device to launch in the first half of the year.

Samsung Galaxy M51 Overview

Design and Display

The Samsung M series has used the same design language over the years with a polycarbonate body and different colours, including gradients on the back.  On the Galaxy M51, we’d expect Samsung glass for a premium feel, but that’s unlikely.  And if you look at the official renders leaked on Twitter, it seems like Samsung is sticking with the polycarbonate case. Based on renderings, the device will be available in black and white colour options, which is pretty much the standard material.  Also, the device should be 8.5mm thick and weigh about 213 grams.

The Samsung Galaxy M51 is expected to be equipped with a 6.67-inch display.  While there have been reports claiming that the device could download its own OLED displays on the Galaxy M51, the recent leak confirmed the presence of the Super AMOLED panel.  It should have a resolution of 2340 by 1080 pixels. The refresh rate here is set to 60Hz, although we’d like a Samsung device with 90Hz in the mid-range. It is expected to have a pixel density of 386ppi and a brightness of 420 nits, similar to the Galaxy M31s.

Performance

Performance is something the M Series has always struggled with.  Samsung has gone for its own Exynos SoC or the outdated/underpowered chipsets from Qualcomm.  Both resulted in slow performance that affected the user experience.

However, with the leaks this time, things could change a bit as the Galaxy M51 is expected to ship with a Snapdragon chipset.  The device would come with a Snapdragon 730 / 730G chipset.  The previous report also indicated that the device was running on Snapdragon 675. However, even the insider suggested that the chipset has yet to be confirmed and should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Storage

It will probably come with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. You should also buy a microSD card slot to get more storage space.

Camera

The Galaxy M51 is expected to be equipped with a quad-camera with a 64-megapixel main camera.  The main camera must have a 64MP ISOCELL Bright GW1 internal sensor.  The main camera is followed by a 12MP wide-angle lens with an aperture of f / 2.2, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro lens.  The phone is said to have a 32MP shooter for selfies.

The leaked camera specs are very similar to the recently unveiled Galaxy M31. We can assume that Samsung will pack a lot. Recording modes, including the S20 series’ flagship Single Shot feature.  This function allows you to click multiple photos and video modes at the same time.

Battery and Charging

Battery capacity and battery life have always been a plus for the M series. Samsung takes that to the next level with the Galaxy M51.  According to various leaks and rumours, the Galaxy M51 is equipped with a huge 7000 mAh battery.  This is a jump for the standard 6000mAh M-series capacity.  With this gigantic battery, the device can last up to two days.

On the charging side, the device must be equipped with 25W fast charging technology via a Type-C interface. And since the phone has a massive battery, we can also rely on reverse charging, in which the device acts as a power bank.  Reverse wireless charging will play a big role for users, but it seems unlikely.

In addition to the above specifications, the Galaxy M51 is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a face unlock feature.  It will probably run on Android 10 based OneUI 2.0.

Conectivity

Samsung Galaxy M51 connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac / Ja, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G and 4G (with band support) 40 of some  LTE networks used in India).  There are rumours that the phone’s sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/magnetometer, gyroscope, built-in fingerprint sensor, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor.  The Samsung Galaxy M51 supports Face Unlock.
