Xiaomi has finally launched its flagship – the Xiaomi Mi 11 Snapdragon 888 in Nepal. It will soon be released all over Nepal. Among all smartphones, Mi 11 is the first one that comes with Snapdragon 888 chipset.

In terms of memory, the phone comes with 8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage or 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage. The device doesn’t have a microSD slot.

Mi 11 comes with a 4,600 mAh battery that supports 55W fast-charging, 50W wireless, and 10W reverse charging. Xiaomi has decided to remove the charger in the retail box.

The company launching their product regularly and improving them over time. Display and Design

Starting with its  Display and Design, As well all know that Realme Watch S is an upgraded version of the Realme Watch.  So, the new Watch S has a circular display with a 1.3-inch LCD display with 360 x 360 pixels screen resolution and it also got auto-brightness sensor features.  Sadly, the display is still an LCD panel instead of AMOLED.

The company hasn’t specified glass protection but it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, as it is commonly used in these budget smartwatches. The watch now has a photosensitive sensor which changes the brightness of the display automatically.

The display is warp inside an aluminum alloy case with a plastic back. The watch case got two physical buttons on the right side.  The strap is made up of silicone. It is available in four color options: Orange, Blue, Green, and Black.

Sensors and Connectivity

Starting with connectivity, the Watch S is connected via Bluetooth 5.0 by using the Realme link app on Android 5.0 or above. Sad to say that, the watch is not supported by iOS and not have in-built GPS.

Moving towards the visual appearance, Watch S has 100 face features so you can choose any visual appearance from it. For exercise tracking, the watch has four sensors included a 3-axis accelerometer, an optical heart rate sensor, and a wearing monitoring sensor, and a SpO2 sensor.

Also, there is no swimming tracking although the watch is IP68 Certificated. Watch also support different health features range from sleep tracking, steps counter, meditation, idle alert to activity tracking. 

Realme Watch S has features like receiving incoming calls, messages, and alarms. You can control the music playback by the connecting device/mobile with the watch. It also has features like Find My Phone, No Disturb Mode, Weather Forecast, and  Shake Adjustment.

The company has a claimed battery life to last 15 days of normal usage due to its 390mAh battery. You can charge the watch via its magnetic charging base.

Just before the company could official their new phone, Poco M3, some rumored details online have been spread all over. Poco M3 was scheduled to be launched on November 23. The details we’ve heard of the phone are not confirmed by the company yet. However, the leaked information gives a slight hint about what to expect from this upcoming new device. 

Rumored Details

Poco M3 is expected to have a 6.53-inch FHD+ Dot Drop display. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset and is likely to be paired with 4GB RAM. Meanwhile, the chipset features 8 Kyro 260 cores that are divided into two clusters. One is the fast cluster of 4 cores with up to 2GHz and the other is a power-saving efficiency cluster with up to 1.8GHz. Likewise, the chip also features Adreno 610 GPU. The device can also be expected with good energy efficiency with its 11nm chip. As seen in the picture, the device could be available in three colors: blue, black, and yellow. 

Meanwhile, speaking about the rebranding that Poco has been doing with its sister company Redmi. Upon digging a little, it is found that similar phone features appear in the upcoming Redmi Note 10. Still, that’s also not confirmed yet as both the devices have not been official until now. We can only tell the differences once it gets a formal introduction.

As for the cameras, from the pictures available, we get to see them arranged in a back panel flaunting Poco’s enormous logo on one side. The Poco M3 is tipped to offer a 48MP primary sensor. Details about the remaining camera sensors and storage options are still under wraps. It features a waterdrop notch to house the selfie camera and a noticeable chin. Rumors tell that the selfie camera could be an 8MP camera. 

The earlier phone by Poco, Poco M2, has a 5000mAh non-removable battery. So, we assume Poco M3 to have at least 6000 mAh non-removable battery even though the phones have and are expected to have 18W fast charging.

We’re not sure about the price range yet. However, bearing in mind the 6-series chipset compared to the 7-series SoC in the Poco X3, we could assume the M3 would be cheaper than the X3 model, at least a few bucks down. The device is scheduled to launch on November 24.

Apple launched another new MacBook Air 2020, this time featuring a new M1 chip. The earlier version of MacBook 2020 (in March) came with an Intel-core processor. Apple’s own Arm CPU has been designed specifically for Macs. Consequently, the M1 chip has been used in all three devices: MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and Mac Mini.

With its new M1 chip the power is now in the Air. MacBook Air with an M1 chip is the thinnest and lightest yet extremely powerful processor. It is available at the same price as the March model.

Poco first marked its comeback by opening its new social media account and introducing their two new phones, Poco M2 and Poco C3 in Nepal. Using their sister company, Xiaomi Nepal, to back up their return they’ve managed to catch the user’s attention quite early. However, Poco’s strategy is simple. It is using its sister company not just to back them up with promotions but also to provide a good base in the market. Consequently, Poco C3 is an identical twin to Redmi 9C, with only a few noticeable changes to the features.

Poco C3’s body features a 6.43 inches HD+ display with 720 x 1600 pixels’ resolution. It has been protected with Panda Glass Protection. Meanwhile, Poco C3 has a plastic back and textured design that helps prevent smudges. This texture design is with separates Poco C3 from Redmi 9C. It is available in Nepal in three colors: Matte Black, Lime Green, and Arctic Blue. However, it doesn’t have any fingerprint scanner, unlike Redmi 9C that came with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. There are two options for storage available for this phone, one is 3GB/ 32GB and the other is 4GB/64GB. But Poco C3 in Nepal is available only in 4GB/64GB.

Speaking about its performance, it has MediaTek Helio G35. This chipset is one of the cheapest gaming cheapest MediaTek has to offer.  No wonder the phone is being advertised as “The Game Changer”.
