After being launched on 17th September, Realme 7i is now making preparations to enter the markets of Nepal. Well, it hasn’t been that long since the “i” models by Realme has come to the markets. As a result, the comparison between the three phones: 5i, 6i, and 7i, only has some distinguishable differences. Let’s check at what can we expect from the new Realme 7i smartphone.

Display and Design

Realme 7i features 6.5-inches of LCD, providing a 90% screen-to-body ratio. It has an ultra-smooth display with a refresh rate of 90Hz, which is better than the 60Hz of Realme 6i. But with 1600 x 720 HD+ resolution it feels like Realme could have tried improving this as all. The device has Corning Gorilla Glass for protection. OnePlus Nord N100: Cheapest in the Nord Series

OnePlus has announced two budget smartphones: OnePlus Nord N10 and Nord N100. These two phones from the Nord series are to those OnePlus fans who couldn’t afford the newer ranges of OnePlus smartphones. A few months back OnePlus had also launched the OnePlus Nord, the first phone of the Nord series. However, the price was not affordable either. Consequently, the company has launched these two new phones in the lineup that has performance worth comparing to the original Nord as well as OnePlus 8T. Nord N100 is the cheapest one in the Nord series. 

OnePlus Nord N100 Overview 

OnePlus Nord N100 is a 4G Network phone, powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 and Adreno 610 that is designed for mid-range smartphones.

Display and Design

This budget smartphone comes with a 6.52-inch display. However, the screen corners are with a standard rectangle, which is why when measured diagonally it has 6.29 inches of display. OnePlus smartphones are popularly known for their AMOLED displays, but OnePlus has not equipped it on this model. Instead, it comes with an IPS LCD panel. The screen resolution is 720 x 1600 pixels and 299 Pixels Per Inch. It also features night mode and reading mode. 

Additionally, with big-screen comes a big sound experience. Hence, Nord N100 consists of dual stereo speakers with a noise cancellation feature. The phone has a 164.9 x 75.1 x 8.49mm dimension and weighs about 188g. 

Camera

For a budget smartphone like OnePlus Nord N100 including a Triple rear camera is more than satisfactory but not much as the original OnePlus Nord. It consists of a 13MP main camera with EIS for image stabilization. Moreover, it has a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth lens. This lens has Portrait, Pro Mode, HDR, Panorama, AI Scene Detection, Dehaze Color, and Filter features. 

The front consists of an 8MP selfie camera. This also includes Face Unlock, HDR, Screen Flash, and face retouching features. 

Performance 

OnePlus Nord N100 is powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 that allows you easy multi-tasking, gaming, and web browsing. For graphic experience, it is equipped with Adreno 610, which is designed for mid-range smartphones. Furthermore, the device uses Android 10 with Oxygen OS, which is the same as what is used in the OnePlus 8T. Nord N100 is a 4G network phone. 

Nord N100 is available with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The storage is expandable up to 256GB through a microSD card. 

Battery

In comparison with the original OnePlus Nord and N10, the battery is larger, despite it being the cheapest in its series. It consists of a 5000mAh non-removable battery that supports 18W fast charging.

OnePlus Nord N10 5G launched as a budget 5G smartphone

After launching their flagship phone OnePlus Nord in July, the company has launched two new phones: OnePlus Nord N10 5G and Nord N100. While these two phones have been launched as budget smartphones they give quite a competition to the phones of their own family. Especially, OnePlus Nord N10 5G consists of similar features that are also found in the original OnePlus Nord and OnePlus 8T but at a more affordable price. Even though N100 has taken a step back by being a 4G network phone, N10 still managed to stay as a 5G network phone that OnePlus had promised. 

OnePlus Nord N10 5G Overview 

OnePlus Nord N10 5G is powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 chipset that also provides a 5G network to the device. It consists of super-fast charging of 30T, 90Hz smooth display, quad camera, and many other exciting features on a budget smartphone.

Display

The new model has a 6.49-inch display with 1080 x 2400 (FHD+), 405 PPI resolution. The corners of the screen are within a standard rectangle. But, measured diagonally, the screen size is 6.49 inches in the full rectangle and 6.25 inches accounting for the rounded corners.

There is one major change from the original Nord – the panel is now an IPS LCD. This display has 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a refresh rate of 90Hz. Furthermore, it has the other two modes for phone usage: Reading mode and Night mode.

With a capacity of 4,300mAh (non-removable), it’s a fraction larger than the Nord battery and it charges just as fast with Warp Charge 30T Fast Charging. 

Camera

The rear camera on the Nord N10 is actually slightly better equipped than that of the original. It features a 64MP sensor inside the main camera maintaining the 119° ultra-wide camera, along with, 8 MP sensor and dedicated two 2MP macro and depth modules.

Although the selfie camera has a single punch hole, the original Nord’s 32MP main camera drops down to 16MP for OnePlus Nord N10 5G. It also has Face Unlock, HDR, Screen Flash, Face Retouching feature.

Performance

The N10 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 chipset, which is similar to the S765G chip used in the Oneplus 8 model with several key differences. It combines speed and strength with power efficiency for sustainable, superior connectivity. Hence, the upgraded Qualcomm Kryo 560 CPU and Qualcomm Adreno 619L GPU push performance to the next level, enabling robust, efficient computing and smooth graphics rendering. 

This smartphone is available with 6GB RAM and 126GB storage. The storage is expandable up to 512GB.

Micromax IN series; Challenging the Chinese smartphone companies, Micromax has made its comeback in 2020 launching their two new phones, Micromax IN Note 1 and Micromax IN 1b, in India. These two budget smartphones will go on sale in India starting from November 24.

Micromax IN series promises pure Android OS with no bloatware and Ads for a clear experience. Similarly, it guarantees 2 years’ update on the software. OPPC Enco Price in Nepal; After launching their wireless earphones, the OPPO Enco series has added another new model to the line-up, OPPO Enco X. The new TWS featured earbuds has not yet been made available in Nepal but is expected to be soon.

Let us move towards discussing its specs and features.

OPPO Enco X Overview

OPPO has reached out to partnership with Dynaudio, Denmark’s top audio brand. Daniel Emonts, an audio series creator at Dynaudio, has mastered the tune after 30 kinds of material exploration, 120 rounds of structural modifications, and 152 device selection for creating a truly natural sound for Enco X.

Design

In design, the new OPPO Enco X is no different from Apple’s Airpod. It consists of an angled earbud with silicone ear tips. The stem holds the center and is rather short.

This wireless earphone is equipped with a coaxial dual unit design on the inside. It comes with a plane magnetic diaphragm, placed in the front, followed by the tri-layer moving coil unit and dual speakers. 

Meanwhile, the charging case is made a little different than the other Enco models. It comes in an oval-shaped design and a LED indicator positioned in the front.

OPPO Enco X is available in three colors: Black, White, and Green.

Audio and noise reduction

The device is equipped with a DBEE3.0 sound system for Hi-Fi audio. It supports SBC, AAC audio codecs, along with Low Latency High-Definition Codec (LHDC). This is a very unusual feature to include in a TWS device.

For noise reduction, the device has a dual-core chip along with a dual-feed microphone feature. It includes four noise reduction mode- strong and weak noise reduction, transparency mode for ambient sounds, toggle noise reduction off mode.

Bluetooth and connectivity

The device supports Bluetooth 5.2, enabling the transmission of music faster and steadily from up to 10 meters long distance. Moreover, Bluetooth 5.2 also supports low-latency dual transmission, bringing a faster connection experience. It is the benefit of having a TWS earbud is that one can share their earpiece with a friend in a meter distance, without compromising on the sound.

The limitation of the device is that some features like audio transmission format are only available on OPPO devices running Colors OS 7.1 and Colors OS 11. Else it connects to both Android and iOS with Bluetooth 5.2.

Battery

Enco X earbuds are expected to last up to 4 hours in strong noise reduction mode and 5.5 hours in noise reduction mode with a 44mAh battery. Whereas, the 535mAh battery is expected to last for 20 hours in strong noise reduction and 25 hours in noise reduction mode.

Vivo has finally upgraded its gear with the new Vivo Watch. China launched the product at the end of September 2020. The product is yet to be available in Nepal. We’re hoping that would be soon.
