GoPro Hero 9 Black Price in Nepal; GoPro has released its new Hero 9 camera for all photography enthusiasts and vloggers breaking down all its predecessor recordings in features and specifications. Hero 9 offers some fantastic features this time around and sticks to the ‘more of everything’ slogan. This is GoPro’s flagship action camera 2020 and features a higher resolution sensor, larger battery, removable lens cap, and a downward, full-colour LCD screen. The new camera takes first place in the GoPro lineup, while the existing Hero 8 Black is expected to drop eventually, followed by the Hero 7 Black, which will now serve as the entry-level model.
GoPro is only updating its main Hero lineup this year (for now at least), and last year’s GoPro Max will continue to be the company’s 360-degree camera offering. The GoPro Hero 9 Black will also be compatible with GoPro mods, including a new Max Lens mod.
GoPro Hero 9 Black Overview
Rear Screen
The Hero 9 is a shade larger than the Hero 8 (5 or 6mm on each side) and also 32 grams heavier. One reason for this is the inclusion of a larger 2.27-inch screen and a new battery. The larger screen also means that the onscreen buttons are slightly larger than before, making them easier to press.

Front Screen
Probably the most notable (visually at least) feature of this year is the addition of a 1.4-inch front screen, similar to the one on DJI’s Osmo Action. The new display is here so you can take the perfect selfie or make sure the whole family is in the picture before hitting the record.

The new screen is not touch-sensitive, but you can choose what you want to display. You have the following options: full screen (an enlarged view that takes up the entire screen), real screen (a live preview of what the camera will see with black bars and status only). You can also turn off the screen completely if you want.
New 5K Video/Sensor
For the first time, you can now shoot a 5K video with a GoPro (at 30 or 24 frames per second). Photos are also increased by 12 to 20 megapixels so your videos and photos appear taller than ever. Note that there are no new slow-mo modes, so 4K still exceeds 60fps, 2.7K at 120fps, and 1080p at 240fps.

Battery Life
Hero 9’s battery is physically bigger and more powerful. With the previous limit of 1,220 mAh, with the new cell of 1,720 mAh. GoPro claims the new battery is good for an average of 30% more usage. GoPro also claims that the new battery is optimized for cooler conditions.

New Features
HyperSmooth and TimeWarp are slightly up-to-date and are titled “3.0”. In practice, this means improvements to camera stabilization (HyperSmooth) and a new option for half speed when recording TimeWarps, just like the existing real-time mode, only … slower.
HyperSmooth and TimeWarp support the new camera horizon alignment. It is only available in linear mode for video, but it ensures that your horizon remains stable during sharp turns if you mount the camera unstably. It is not possible to freeze the horizon at 360 degrees like Max does, but up to 45 degrees of tilt will straighten, after which the camera will readjust to the actual angle you are shooting at.

Mods!
Mods for GoPro were introduced with Hero 8. The same mods are back for Hero 9 with some minor changes. Most exciting of all is the introduction of a “Max Mod” for Hero 9. This brings some of the best features of the Max to the “normal” Hero 9. This means far superior HyperSmooth, a much wider field of view (similar to Max’s SuperView), and 360-degree horizon locking. It also means you can add filters to the Hero 9, something you can’t do with the Hero 8. It remains to be seen if there are more official lens mods or third-party options. The Max-Mod is on top of the normal lens so it’s not as easy as changing lenses on a DSLR. The new multimedia and screen mods are available today, the Max mod will arrive next month (the light mod is the same as it is already available).

Power Tools
Another new tool is HindSight, a fusion of the existing loop recording option (where the camera records a set amount of time when repeated without stressing the memory card), and LiveBurst (which takes photos before shooting, press the shutter button). As the name suggests, you can use it to intercept something that happened just before you hit the record button.
The GoPro Hero 9 Black is rugged and waterproof up to 10 meters. It supports a single microSD card and has a USB Type-C port for charging. The camera still has the folding mounting fingers that we first saw on the Hero8 Black.
