iQOO is one of Vivo’s sub-brand which has recently launched a new smartphone in the Chinese market that goes by the name of iQOO Neo 6. It succeeds last year’s iQOO Neo 5 with some interesting upgrades. Here, we will talk about the specs, features, availability, and the expected price of iQOO Neo 6 in Nepal.

iQOO Neo 6 Overview

Display and Design

Beginning with the screen, it measures 6.62-inches with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate followed by 1200Hz the touch sampling rate. It supports HDR10+ content and boasts 500nits of typical brightness, 800nits of HBM brightness, and 1300nits of a peak. Further, it has another display chip to lower the pressure on the processor while you are gaming which counts as heavy usage.

The phone is available in three different color options – orange, Blue, and Black Lord. It weighs 190 grams and measures 163×76.2×8.5mm in dimension. Moreover, the back panel and the frame are plastic made whereas the front is solely made up of glass. Above the screen, there is a central aligned punch-hole cutout to hold the front-facing camera.

Performance and Memory

Under the hood, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset drives the phone with its 4nm technology. There is an octa-core (1×3.00 GHz Cortex-X2 & 3×2.50 GHz Cortex-A710 & 4×1.80 GHz Cortex-A510) CPU teamed up with Adreno 730 graphics processor. Similarly, iQOO Neo 6 boots on Android 12 on top of Origin OS Ocean.

You can see an 8/12GB RAM configuration on the device coupling with 128GB and 256GB internal storage of UFS 3.1. Unfortunately, the latter is not expandable due to the lack of a microSD card slot.

Likewise, for coiling purposes, there is a 46662mm²system with six layers of three-dimensional graphite, a high thermal conductivity rare earth alloy, and a VC soaking plate to improve thermals when in heavy usage. And to top it off, there is MEMC technology to help you with a smooth experience. You can also make full use of the “Frame rate Boost” mode to see the flexible 120Hz refresh rate.

Camera and Audio

There is a triple camera setup at the rear panel of the device which is led by a 64MP primary lens with an f/1.9 aperture. It also supports PDAF and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). It is then followed by a 12MP ultrawide sensor whose field of view is yet to be known. Likewise, the setup is then completed by a 2MP camera for portrait shots.

Upfront, there is a 16MP selfie snapper with an f/2.0 aperture. While the rear camera is accompanied by a Dual-LED dual-tone flash, the front camera lacks it. You can record videos up to 4K resolution at 30 frames per second from the back camera and up to 1080p from the front.

For audio, you can see the loudspeaker system that tunes out a 24-bit/192kHz audio. However, there is no 3.5mm headphone jack here.

Fueling the device is a medium 4,700mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. It can charge from 20% to 80% in just 19 minutes. Furthermore, there is an under-display fingerprint sensor followed by a software-based face unlock system.
