Realme GT 2 pro price in nepal

Realme has finally introduced its proper flagship in the Nepali market. The phone is Realme GT 2 Pro which also has a vanilla version named GT 2. Here, we will dig into the specs, features, availability, and the official price of the Realme GT 2 Pro in Nepal.

Realme GT 2 Pro Overview

Display and Design

Starting with the display, there is a 6.7-inch 2K Samsung E4 AMOLED screen in the Realme GT 2 Pro. It boasts the standard refresh rate of 120Hz and has 1B colors alongside HDR10+ contents and 1400nits of peak brightness. Further, there is 1440×3216-pixels resolution and 509 PPI density. The whole display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

Not to forget, this is the world’s first phone with a bio-based design. Realme collaborated with Naoto Fukasawa for the Master Paper Design. The phone weighs 189/199 grams (depending on color) while embedding the dimension of 163.2×74.7×8.2mm. There are four different color configurations – Paper White, Paper Green, Steel Black, and Titanium Blue.

Performance and Memory

Since Realme GT 2 Pro is the brand’s flagship, it integrates Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset based on a 4nm manufacturing process. There is an octa-core CPU core with one Cortex-X2, three Cortex-A710, and four Cortex-A510 cores clocked at the speed of 3.00GHz, 2.50GHz, and 1.80GHz respectively. Likewise, there is Adreno 730 handling the graphics depart.

As per memory, there are four different configurations – 8/128GB, 8/256GB, 12/256GB, and 12/512GB of UFS 3.1. However, only two of these are available in the global market. Unfortunately, there is no microSD card slot to further expand the internal memory. On the software front, the phone boots on Android 12 on top of Realme UI 3.0. Moreover, there is a 4129mm2 Vapor Chamber cooling surface and a 36,761mm2 heat dissipation layer to keep the device’s core temperature in check.

Camera and Audio

Moving on to optics, there is a triple camera setup on the bump we have on the back panel. There is a Sony IMX766 50MP primary lens of f/1.8 aperture, 1.0-microns pixel capacity, and support of Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). Another 50MP camera is the world’s first ultrawide camera with a 150-degree field of view. Further, the setup is completed with a 2MP microscopic sensor with AF support and 40x magnification.

Upfront, there is a 32MP selfie snapper with an f/2.4 aperture and 0.8-microns pixel capacity. This is a Sony IMX615 sensor lying inside the punch-hole cutout above the screen. While the rear camera can record up to 8K videos at the rate of 30/60 fps, the front-facing camera is limited to 1080p at 30 frames per second. The back-camera bump also houses a Dual-LED dual-tone flash. For audio, there is a loudspeaker system with stereo speakers that supports 24-bit/192kHz audio. However, there is no 3.5mm headphone jack for music and calls.

Rest of the specs

Under the hood, the new Realme flagship gets its fuel from a non-removable Li-Po 5,000mAh battery cell with 65W fast charging support. The brand claims to charge from 0 to 100% in just 33 minutes. Likewise, there is an optical under-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics alongside software-based face unlock. Other sensors include an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and color spectrum.

For connectivity, there lies Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/n/ac/6, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.2, A2DP, LE, aptX HD, GPS, dual-band A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, QZSS, NavIC, NFC, and USB Type-C 2.0, USB On-The-Go.
