Both the Huawei MateBook D14 and the Huawei MateBook D16 2023 are available in either Bright Moon Silver or Space Grey color options.
Performance
As noted before, these brand-new Huawei Ultrabooks come equipped with the most recent “Raptor Lake” mobile CPUs from Intel, which are of the 13th generation. Core i5-1340P or Core i7-1360P CPUs are available for installation in a MateBook D14, depending on the user’s preferences. On the other hand, the Core i5-13500H, Core i7-13700H, or Core i9-13900H can be selected among the D16’s three available configurations.
Both of them provide either 512GB or 1TB of NVMe PCIe SSDs and either 8 or 16 gigabytes of LPDDR4x RAM as standard features. You’ll have to make do with the integrated Iris Xe GPU here because this system does not have any discrete graphics capabilities.
Specifications
When it comes to the battery, the Huawei MateBook D14 has a cell that has a capacity of 56 WH, while the larger model has a capacity of 60 WH in its battery. Both of them support the 65W fast charging standard, which can bring a laptop battery down to 50% in little around half an hour. Additionally, Huawei asserts that their latest generation of WiFi antennas allow for a 57% boost in file download speed in addition to a wider connection.
Regarding the support for wireless connectivity, there is support for both Bluetooth 5.1 and WiFi 6. In contrast, the input/output options consist of a 3.5mm headphone jack, one HDMI port, and two USB-A ports (although there is only one USB-C port in D14). If and when they are brought to Nepal, we anticipate that the starting price for the Huawei MateBook D14 and D16 2023 will be NPR 116,999 and NPR 130,999 respectively.
