We discussed the first OnePlus Ace series installment a few weeks back. And now it’s the turn of the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition which is just the toned-down version of the previous model. Here, we will dig into the specs, features, availability, and the expected price of the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition in Nepal.

Display and Design

OnePlus Ace Racing Edition starts at 8.7mm in thickness and weighs 205 grams. It looks a lot like the OnePlus 10 Pro which is already available in Nepal. There is a large camera bump that is like the 10 Pro. And on the side, there is a physical fingerprint scanner for biometrics. It is available in two color options – Athletics Grey and Lightspeed Blue.

Further, the IPS LCD screen here measures 6.59-inches with 1080×2412-pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It boasts 480nits of typical and 600nits of HBM. It also covers 100% of the DCI P3 color gamut. Moreover, there is a 20:9 aspect ratio and 87.6% screen-to-body ratio. Above the screen, there is a left-aligned punch-hole cutout that holds the front-facing camera.

Performance and Memory

Under the hood, the device gets its power from MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX. This is the same processor we saw in the standard, OnePlus Ace. It is a 5nm chipset that integrates an octa-core CPU with four Cortex-A78 (@2.85GHz) and four Cortex-A55 (@2.0GHz) coupled with Arm’s Mali-G610 MC6 graphics processor. The latter boosts the frame rates which is helped by the HyperBoost feature that reduces frame drops and stutters.

Moreover, there is the largest Vapor Chamber that has ever existed in a OnePlus phone. It is an 80layer cooling system with a liquid-cooled vapor Chamber, graphite, and special conductive material. And for even smooth gaming, there is an X-axis linear vibration motor with O-Haptics effects. And to top it off, there is a virtual keyboard with haptics tuned by Razer.

Over to the software front, the OnePlus Ace boots on Android 12 on top of ColorOS 12.1. If the phone launches in the global market, it will have OxygenOS 12.1. Furthermore, you can have up to 12GB RAM coupled with up to 256GB of internal storage of UFS 3.1. You can’t even expand your internal storage because there is no card slot on the device.

Camera and Audio

Moving on, the phone has a triple camera setup with a 64MP lens with an f/1.9 aperture alongside the support for PDAF. Compared to the standard Ace, there was the support for Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) as well. Likewise, there is an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and 119-degree field-of-view. Then, the setup gets complete with a 2MP camera for macro shots.

There is a 16MP ISOCELL S5K3P9SP front-facing camera for selfies and videos. It lies above the screen and can record videos up to 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second. On the other hand, the rear camera can record up to 4K videos. However, both still support gyro-EIS.

As per audio, there are stereo speakers with Dirac Audio for loudspeakers and also the 3.5mm headphone jack for music or calls. And if you decide to be wireless, it supports an aptX HD Bluetooth codec with reduced latency for gaming.

Fueling the device is a medium Li-Po 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging. It can charge the device from 0-80% in 29 minutes only. Other sensors include an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. Realme has launched Pad X – its most powerful tablet till today. It was launched alongside the Realme GT Neo 3 Naruto Edition which we discussed a few days earlier. Here, we will talk about the specs, features, availability, and the expected price of Realme Pad X in Nepal.

Display and Design

The design of the Realme Pad X has a different approach than the other tablets it has launched before. It flaunts a flat-frame design as we have seen on other premium tablets like iPad Air and Xiaomi Pad 5. You can see the power button on top and volume adjusters on the right. It weighs around 499 grams and measures 7.1mm in thickness.

In addition, it also has the Stylus support. You can buy the new Realme stylus we saw a while earlier. It even attaches itself to the tablet’s frame. And while we are on the subject, let’s not forget a folio case and a smart keyboard as well. Over to the software front, Pad X boots on Android 12 on top of Realme UI 3.0. The latter has been optimized for tablets with some features like PC connect, split view, and portrait centering function.

And the system is driven by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset based on a 6nm fabrication process. This combines an octa-core (2×2.2 GHz Kryo 660 Gold & 6×1.7 GHz Kryo 660 Silver) CPU with Adreno 619 graphics.

You can record videos up to 1080p resolution at the rate of 30 frames per second. For audio, four stereo speakers are tuning out 24-bit/192kHz audio. Unfortunately, it lacks the 3.5mm headphone jack which means you must make it work with a Type-C earphone.

We have now received a new retro gaming console from Evercade. It goes by the name Evercade EXP which is just a handheld gaming console that has started sale in the United States. In this article, we will talk about the specs, features, availability, and the expected price of Evercade EXP in Nepal.

We saw the first installment of Evercade – a handheld gaming console back in 2020. And now, we have seen its successor – Evercade EXP with a similar form factor as its predecessor. However, the new one has the inscribed button letters. And to top it off, you can see that the device has two new buttons – R2 and L2. It also has A and B buttons for gaming portrait mode. However, the standard button layout still lacks a joystick which is quite a disappointment.

We have now received a new POCO smartphone – F4 5G alongside the POCO X4 GT at an online live stream. The F4 5G is not a phone built from the ground but is the rebranded Redmi K40S for the global market. In this post, we will talk about the specs, features, availability, and the expected price of POCO F4 5G in Nepal.

The new POCO F4 5G sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. This is an improvement over its predecessor.

POCO X4 GT goes official in the global market

POCO has unveiled two new smartphones in the global market – POCO X4 GT and POCO F4 5G. Here, we will look at the former – POCO X4 GT with all its specifications, features, availability, and its price in Nepal. The device is the second installment of the X4 series from the brand and is rumored to be the rebranded Redmi Note 11T Pro from last month.

POCO X4 GT Overview

Display and Design

Beginning with the design, the POCO X4 GT brings a 6.6-inch IPS LCD screen with 1080×2460-pixels resolution. It also has a DCI-P3 coverage alongside DC Dimming, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision. Likewise, it boasts a 144Hz refresh rate teaming up with a 270Hz touch sampling rate. Then, the screen gets its protection from Corning Gorilla Glass 5. And to top it off, there are 500nits of typical brightness and 650nits of HBM.

The device has a flat edge design with round corners and a slight curve for a good grip. Further, there is a rectangular camera bump that holds the rear camera setup. The body weighs 200 grams and measures 8.9mm in thickness. There are three color options available for the model – Black, Blue, and Silver.

Under the hood, the device is driven with MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset based on a 5nm fabrication process. Fueling the POCO X4 GT is a medium 5,080mAh battery with 67W fast charging that can charge from 0 to 100% in just 46 minutes. It also supports USB Power Delivery 3.0. For biometrics, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner followed by a software-based face unlock. Other sensors include an accelerometer, proximity, gyro, compass, and color spectrum.
