Nothing Phone (1) has been on news for months now. We were continuously rumored about its launch date; now, we have an official one – July 12. That’s right!!! Nothing is launching its first phone soon in the German market. Here, you will talk about the specs, features, availability, and expected price of Nothing Phone (1) in Nepal. Carl Bei confirmed this news from Germany.
Nothing Phone (1) Overview
Singularity-focused design
Carl Pei once mentioned that the first Nothing Phone will be based on Dyson’s singularity-focused design. As per the news, Dyson’s former design head, Adam Bates led the design for the device. In addition, Jesper Kouthoofd and Tom Howard are also working on the same purpose.
Transparent Back
Nothing Phone (1) brings a transparent back which means you will be able to view the inside components of the device easily. We have a live example with the Nothing Ear (1) TWS earbuds where a similar concept was visualized. However, this is not the first time for a phone to have a transparent back since Xiaomi and Nubia have already shown us their smartphones with a transparent back. We have seen a few designs for Nothing Phone via the social media handles of Carl Pei. However, we are yet to see which will be used in the final product.
Hardware specs
Powering the device is Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 which was slightly hinted at by Carl Pei’s tweets. However, we are yet to be sure about it as well. Likewise, we will see some components from Samsung, Visionox, and Sony in the phone as well. Moreover, the brand will flaunt the charging coil on the back of the phone which means the phone will have wireless charging.
Nothing OS and ecosystem
Nothing Phone (1) will bring Nothing OS which will then have three major updates and an additional year of security patches. According to the company, you’ll have a very smooth experience. Nothing OS also moves along the dot-matrix design with you see in the Nothing logo. If you are interested, you can view the Nothing OS launcher in Play Store which is already available for some phones.
As we are familiar that Nothing Phone (1) is a second device by Nothing after Nothing Ear (1) TWS. However, the brand is already planning for a rivalry with Apple. This means that the Nothing ecosystem is planning on a great vision for the future.
Nothing Phone (1) Price in Nepal
We have finally received the official launch date for the Nothing Phone (1) – 12th July. However, we are yet to know about the price of Nothing Phone (1) in Nepal or any other global market. A leak has told us it’s around EUR 500 but we can’t rely on that information.
