Oppo F19 has received a price cut in its original value from back when it was launched in April inside Nepal. The phone, however, is still overpriced and we do not recommend it to buy anytime soon. In this post, we will dig into the specs, features, availability, and the official new price of Oppo F19 in Nepal.
Oppo F19 Overview
Display and Design
Oppo F19 flaunts a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with 1080×2400-pixel resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. The device has a flexible touch sampling rate of 135Hz-180Hz with a peak brightness of 800 nits. Further, it has 100% of sRGB and 92% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
If we talk about design, there is a glossy finish for the Oppo F19. It weighs 175 grams and houses a triple camera setup at the back of the device. There are two color options available for the F19 – Prism Black and Midnight Blue.
Performance and Memory
Powering the Oppo F19 is Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 based on an 11nm manufacturing process. This is a little disappointing since the same processor is used in smartphones half its price.
As per memory, there is a solo memory configuration of 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage in the Oppo F19. The latter can also be expanded up to 512GB via a dedicated microSD card slot. Likewise, it runs on Android 11 on top of Oppo’s ColorOS 11.1 on the software front.
Camera
Moving on to optics, there is a triple camera setup on the rear panel as mentioned earlier. There is a 48MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and two 2MP lenses of f/2.4 aperture each for portrait and macro shots respectively. They also support 1080p video shoots with EIS stabilization at 30 frames per second.
Upfront, there is a 16MP selfie snapper inside a punch-hole notch on the top-left position above the screen. It can also shoot the videos at the same resolution as the rear cameras, but it lacks stabilization. Moreover, it can shoot Panorama, Portrait, and Time-Lapse for your enhanced happiness.
Battery and Extras
Under the hood, Oppo F19 is fueled by a massive 5,000mAh battery with 33W Flash Charge support. Oppo claims 54% juice fill in just 30 minutes which is quite impressive. There is also AI Night Charge which delays speed charging at night to avoid overcharging.
For biometrics, there is an optical under-display fingerprint sensor and a software-based face unlock system. Other sensors include an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and geomagnetic light.
The official new price of Oppo F19 in Nepal is NPR 31,990 where its previous price was NPR 34,590. Though Oppo Nepal lessened around three thousand on the price, I think this is still overpriced because the specs offered by the phone are not worth the money considering other phones in the same price.
