Xiaomi 12S: The vanilla in the series

We saw the Xiaomi 12S Ultra in our previous article. And now, we will discuss the vanilla version of the device Xiaomi 12S with all its specs, features, availability, and expected price in Nepal. It also has a Pro version which we will be discussing real soon.

Xiaomi 12S Overview

Display and Design

The new Xiaomi 12S flaunts a 6.28-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz high refresh rate. It has curved sides on the screen. The device also boasts HDR10+ contents with 10-bit color depth and Dolby Vision. Further, the display received DisplayMate’s A+ certification and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

The phone weighs around 179/182 grams while embedding the dimension of 152.7×69.9×8.2mm. This is the same as the Xiaomi 12 but with an extra Leica branding. There are four color options in the device – Gray, White, Purple, and Green.

The device also has a 13MP ultra-wide lens with an f/2.4 aperture and a 123-degree field of view. This one however has a pixel capacity of 1.12-microns. Finally, the setup is completed with a 5MP telephoto macro shooter. However, it adds up with the AI Image Solution 2.0 to bring improvement.

Moreover, the rear camera module also holds a Dual-LED dual-tone flash for better night shots.

Xiaomi has finally launched the 12S series in the Chinese market. There are two standard models – Xiaomi 12S and 12S Pro alongside an Ultra one. In this post, we will dig into the specs, features, availability, and the expected price of the Xiaomi 12S Ultra in Nepal.

Xiaomi 12S Ultra Overview

1-inch type Sony IMX989 Sensor

Beginning with the most interesting feature of the phone – there is Sony’s 1-inch sensor. This is the first time we saw the Sony IMX989 flagship sensor in a smartphone. This was made with a collaboration between Xiaomi and Sony with a development cost of around USD 15 million. It’s specially designed for smartphones.

Then, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protects the screen.

OnePlus has launched two new smartphones in the Indian market – The OnePlus 10R 5G and the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite. The latter is a mid-range smartphone derived from the standard OnePlus Nord CE 2. It launched inside the Nepali market a few months back and now it has got a price hike. Here, we will talk about the specs, features, availability, and the new price of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G in Nepal.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite Overview

Display and Design

Beginning with the design, the new OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite brings a 6.59-inch IPS LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution. It has a high refresh rate of 120Hz and boasts sRGB alongside the DCI-P3 color gamut. It has a 1080×2412-pixel capacity paired with a 401-pixel density. Above a screen, there is a left-aligned punch-hole that holds the front-facing camera.

OnePlus launched a new installment in its Nord series – OnePlus Nord CE 2 in the Nepali market a few months back. This is the first smartphone by OnePlus in the global market since the year 2022. This is a mid-ranged phone with Dimensity 900 5G and SuperVOOC charging. And now the price of the device has been raised. Here, we will look at the specs, features, availability, and the new price of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 in Nepal.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Overview

Display and Design

The new OnePlus Nord CE 2 flaunts a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It supports HDR10+ content and has a resolution of 1080×2400-pixels. The screen-to-body ratio, aspect ratio, and pixel density here measure 84.9%, 20:9, and 409 respectively. The screen here gets its protection from Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
